New this year – the Girls 10s festival
FOR the first time, the Caldy Sevens will be accompanied by a 10-a-side girls rugby event on Saturday May 2.

The festival is set to feature eight teams at under 15 and under 18 level, from across the country.
Cheshire RFU president Peter Rhodes said: “It is especially pleasing that Caldy RFC is hosting the North of England Youth Girls 10 a side competition on the 2nd May as they have been staunch supporters of the Cheshire girls and women this season.
“I look forward to watching some of the games which I know will be played in a competitive manner.
“My thanks to all involved in ensuring that the competition takes place and especially to Caldy RFC for their continued support.”
Caldy girls manager Pat Parkinson said it should be a great day.
“This has been a great season for the girls section and the festival would cap it off nicely,” he added. “I know from taking our team to similar events that it is a great chance to enjoy the game and make some new friends too.
“If any girls teams fancy coming down to play, they would receive a warm welcome at Caldy.”
